DBK owner

DBK (Dum bytove kultury) was opened in 1981 and kept its priviledged position in the furniture market.

DBK is one of the most outstanding and widely known works of the architect Vera Machoninova.

The house was renamed as PRIOR in the mid-90's. This department store was integrated to the commercial network of PRIOR and particular commercial spaces were gradually rented. The range of goods was extended and the sales of furniture reduced. At that moment, the department store starts offering full range of goods. Due to the uniqueness of the building (position, architecture and opportunities), extensive renovation works were conducted and the building won back its name DBK. This change brought along a new logotype, the new DBK brandmark.
